14 Wing Greenwood has been the site of an Air Force base since the Second World War. Today it remains a very active site for many aircraft and service personnel.

This year marks the 32nd annual running of the Greenwood ZX Road Race at 14 Wing.

The race is hosted each year by the 14 Wing running club which operates under the 14 Wing Community Recreation Centre. In late 2005, the running club amalgamated with the cycling club and became the ZX Cycle N Run Club.

Many people wonder what the "ZX" means in our race name?? It is simply the two-letter airport identifier code for Greenwood used in the military and civilian aviation communities.
